A sweet and fresh fruity pineapple scent with a hint of rum/arrack in the distance.
Aldehyde C19 is the main component in the scent of fresh pineapple.
Together with ethyl maltol it gives a realistic fresh pineapple scent.
Added to citrus scents, this aldehyde gives a sweet, juicy touch to the whole.
Added to floral scents and forest (moss) scents it brightens up the whole, making it ‘brighter’ in scent.
Aldhyde C19 also works well in combination with blossom scents such as lime blossom , apple blossom and lilac .
Occurs naturally in pineapple , mushrooms and potatoes.
