Occurs naturally in the essential oils of, among others:
Star Anise , Anise , Cassia Flowers and Ceylon Cinnamon . Anisaldehyde is often used in floral accords such as lilac , lily and mimosa . It is a ‘soft’ aldehyde that will round out the sharper aldehydes in a composition.
