Myrrh is often used in oriental, gourmand and chypre accords; it gives a deep balsamic and ambery effect. Combines well with for example frankincense, benzoin, patchouli, sandalwood, opoponax and vetiver, where myrrh adds an extra dimension. It is a persistent scent. Main components:
