Choya Ral Attar is a traditional Indian perfume extract made by dry distilling the bark of the Shorea robusta tree. The result is a deep, smoky, resinous oil with warm amber undertones.
Top: smoky, burnt wood
Heart: leathery, resinous, slightly medicinal
Base: sweet-resinous, amber, warm
Fragrance Group: Smoky – Resinous – Leathery – Amber
Fragrance duration: very long – excellent fixer

Use in perfumery
- Ideal as a base note in attars, niche perfumes and meditative blends
- Combines beautifully with sandalwood, oudh, vetiver, patchouli, labdanum
- Gives depth, warmth and an authentic smoky character to compositions
Recommended dosage
- Start: 0.1-1% in perfume concentrate
- In deep, smoky formulas: up to 5%
- Freely soluble in alcohol and oil; always test first in small batches
