– Pelargonaldehyde Occurs naturally in the essential oil of:
the peel of bitter orange , mandarin , grapefruit and lime, Ceylon cinnamon, ginger, rose, orris.Used in minimal (traces) dosage (0.1) in floral scents such as jasmine , tuberose , lily , rose and peony , orris etc.
This aldehyde will bring a very natural floral waxy scent of petals into the whole and give the perfume a real ‘lift’.When Nonanal is mixed with ethanol, it produces a solution with an odor reminiscent of vanillin.
This compound can be used in creating scents such as rose , orange blossom and violet .
