One of the most used Schiff’s bases known in perfumery.
Used extensively in neroli perfumes and other heavy floral scents, and in smaller amounts in citrus scents, amber scents (giving an oriental character), and sweet florals such as frangipani, honeysuckle, lily, magnolia, ylang ylang, etc.
Aurantiol and Musk form a perfect combination.
Also an excellent fixative in perfumes.

Aurantiol is one of the most iconic Schiff’s bases in modern perfumery. The fragrance character is:
