This is pure, concentrated perfume oil and still needs to be diluted.
This can be done with perfumer’s alcohol, or alcohol-free with a carrier oil such as jojoba or fractionated coconut oil.

Example:
To make 50 ml of eau de toilette, use 2.5 to 5 ml of the fragrance concentrate and add 45 to 47.5 ml of perfumer’s alcohol or jojoba oil.

Find out how much fragrance concentrate you get per perfume type and bottle size.

Perfume type Concentrate (%) 30 ml bottle 50 ml bottle 100 ml bottle
Perfume / Extract 20–35% 6–10.5 ml 10–17.5 ml 20–35 ml
Eau de Parfum (EdP) 10–20% 3–6 ml 5–10 ml 10–20 ml
Eau de Toilette (EdT) 5–10% 1.5–3 ml 2.5–5 ml 5–10 ml
Eau de Cologne 2–5% 0.6–1.5 ml 1–2.5 ml 2–5 ml
Aftershave / Eau Fraîche 1–3% 0.3–0.9 ml 0.5–1.5 ml 1–3 ml

💡 Explanation : The higher the percentage of fragrance concentrate, the more intense and longer the scent lasts.
Perfume contains the most concentration and lasts the longest on the skin.
Aftershave and Eau Fraîche are the lightest and evaporate faster.

Some practical suggestions:

1. Enhance top notes (fresh & aromatic)

  • Linalool – floral-fresh, enhanced lavender
  • Menthol or Menthyl lactate – for a cooler mint experience
  • Citral or Citronellal – gives extra citrus brightness to bergamot

2. Deepening heart notes (spicy & floral)

  • Cinnamic aldehyde – enhances cinnamon warmth
  • Eugenol – spicy, clove-like, enhances cumin sensation
  • Hedione – transparent jasmine-like freshness, softens the heart
  • Orange flower absolute – natural depth of orange blossom

3. Enrich base (warm & creamy)

  • Vanillin – enhances vanilla sweetness
  • Tonalide or Galaxolide – clean musk for a modern finish
  • Cashmeran – musky, woody, slightly spicy
  • Coumarin – enhances tonka bean with an almond-like undertone

Sample formula (50 ml Eau de Parfum)

  • 5 ml Marine Vice dupe
  • 0.3 ml Vanillin
  • 0.2 ml Hedione
  • 0.2 ml Menthyl lactate
  • 0.3 ml Cashmeran
  • Add 44 ml of perfumer’s alcohol or carrier oil

Allow the mixture to mature for at least 1–2 weeks for optimal fragrance development.

💡 Creative variations

  • Add a leather accord for a bolder, niche look
  • Use marine molecules like Calone for a fresh sea breeze
  • Combine with green lavender absolute for a spicy lavender boost
