Use in fine perfumery:
- Steam-distilled from ripe berries of Juniperus communis, it offers a fresh, piney, balsamic aroma with woody-sweet undertones.
- Used as a modifier in fougère, citrus, chypre, and amber accords, adding clarity and sparkle.
- Works well in top and heart notes, especially in masculine or forest-inspired fragrances.

However, certain naturally occurring constituents within the oil—like limonene, linalool, eugenol, methyl eugenol, and geraniol—do have individual concentration limits due to potential allergenic or sensitizing effects.
