– (2-Pentyl-3-oxocyclopentyl)acetic acid methyl ester Hedione HC (HC stands for High Cis) is enriched with a higher amount of cis-isomer than Firmenich’s classic Hedione® .
It is less ‘radiant’ than the classic Hedione® (due to its composition) but has enriching qualities that work very well in modern perfumes. Hedione® HC is like Hedione® a delicate fragrance with nuances of magnolia blossoms and jasmine blossoms. Although Hedione® HC itself is not powerful, it is used for its “blossom” effect in any type of perfume, especially Jasmine , Muguet , Tuberose and Narcissus Jonquilla . Hedione®HC can also be used to stimulate Hedione® .
