Patchouli BIO (EO)

Patchouli has a deep, dry, earthy wood tone reminiscent of damp soil, old wood and leaves.
It contains patchoulol, a sesquiterpen with pronounced woody character.
In perfumery, it is often combined with vetiver, cedar, labdanum and musks – all typical wood base notes.

 

Fragrance profile

• Top to middle notes: gently spicy, light green and slightly mentholated in very fresh batches.
• Middle to base notes: warm, earthy, mossy, woody and slightly sweet.
• Character: rich, round and complex; develops and deepens after blending and aging.
