Helional is used in marine chords, juicy fruity chords and for a light ozonic note. Helional gives a certain degree of volume to an accord or perfume composition. The smell of Helional is less aldehyde than Cyclamen aldehyde from our range and also slightly less powerful. Can form a Schiff’s base with methyl anthranilate (Corps Oranger). Helional can be synthesized from heliotropin. Chemically it is an aldehyde (hydrocinnamaldehyde)
