The aroma of Rectified Cade Oil is intense and characterful: a deep, smoky wood note reminiscent of smoldering campfire, weathered leather, and resinous tarwood.

The aroma is:

  • Base note : powerful, earthy and soothing
  • Texture : syrupy and warm, with a medicinal base
  • Atmosphere : mystical, protective and grounded — perfect for meditative perfumes or masculine compositions

Similar to Vetiver or Labdanum, but with a distinctly smoky signature that instantly gives a perfume depth and character.

In fine perfumery, rectified Cade oil is prized as a powerful and atmospheric base note with a pronounced smoky-leathery character .
